True and False Philanthropy

There are individuals who ascertain that they have the best of intentions for the care of others. Some of those people refer to themselves as ‘Philanthropists’. How can one distinguish those acting of good faith, and the wretched many who only seek to promote their own interests? Their intentions are revealed through words and actions alike. True assistance takes the form of providing people with the means to help themselves, and grow through their own individuation and culture. False and cynical aid is one with which the weak are provided with the products of the strong, and told to follow a plan which is foreign to their way of living.
